Talita: …Was the fight with Mel really that bad?
Calcery: As attentive as they act, I’m not sure Mel is ever actually listening. But no manager could make staying on Dirtball WORTH it, you know?
Talita: Yeah, I’m honestly surprised Ixion kept you this long.
Calcery: When are you going to leave?
Talita: Me?? I don’t know. It’s fine here.
Calcery: No, it isn’t.

It’s actually a bug ferret earpiece, not that the user experience is any better for Talita. You can see the large support coil that goes around the outside of bug ferret ear, and the pad that sits directly on their tympanum.
