The overhead shop lights suddenly turn off, plunging the room into darkness. The trio jump in surprise and look up in fear. The dark is disturbed by a bright flash of light..

That makes me wonder if all of the “horse” idioms are slightly racist against Human-Taurs and Centaurs now.
(I was going to say something like “Surely that’s Horse-In-the-Headlights” but it made me wonder about it)

I mean, another in-universe name for centaurs is “tigerhorse”, and avians refer to humans as “salamander ape-person” as per one of the between-chapter AMAs… referring to other sophonts by what animal they resemble is probably one of those things that can be exophobic or completely fine, depending on the context.
GMH taurs might have different feelings on the subject, but I’m guessing that again it depends on the context, as well as the individual. I can’t imagine that referring to them just as the animal would fly, but something like “workhorse” can probably range anywhere from a kinda funny joke to a “yeah yeah youre only the 17th person to say that today” kind of joke to “you say that one more time and I will do like a horse and stomp you to death with my hooves”.

I’m confused, how is it Tuesday (according to the text messages from three pages ago)? Talita had her “meeting” with Bip on Monday after work (May 21st, shown on page 80), then agreed to fix the connection *the next day*, which would be a Tuesday (May 22nd). If it’s May 23rd right now, shouldn’t it be a Wednesday? Or is there something I’m missing?

… can’t see anything you’d missed. Monday (per page 79) May 21st (80) and Tuesday May 23rd (130) don’t agree … no weekdays or apparent weekend-ish schedule on page 128 for a third opinion … Dirtball is on a 23h-per-day timescale, assuming that the Jovian calendar is based on ye olde 24h, they *would* have to occasionally skip a day to keep the dates in sync, but why wouldn’t they skip the *week*day along with it …
